Hublot King Power Carbon Fiber Cathedral watch

Swiss watchmaker Hublot has introduced at BaselWorld the world’s first carbon fiber watch, the stunning King Power Carbon Fiber Cathedral timepiece. Sheathed in a 48 mm casing of raw carbon fiber, this watch features two “Cathedral” type gongs, a tourbillon and a column wheel chronograph, with carbon fiber bridges.

This bespoke chronograph also features titanium and rubber, being a perfect illustration of the Art of Fusion key to Hublot and a perfect fusion between great watchmaking techniques and the technology of the future. Jean Claude Biver, CEO of Hublot best described when he said “More watchmaking, more mastery, more innovation, more daring, more

The minute repeater bolt comes integrated into the King Power case middle, just like the chronograph control push piece that’s integrated into the crown. This minute repeater sounds the hours, quarter hours and minutes and it’s activated by means of a lever situated between 8 and 10 o’clock. The flying tourbillon of the watch sits at 6 o ‘clock and boasts an unusual structure of very high quality.

There is a major difference between the Hublot King Power Carbon Fiber Cathedral watch and other watches:all of its functions are visible on the dial side.
